Hello, I am a Deacon in the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church. Growing up in America while trying to stay committed to my home church was always a challenge for me. For starters, there were not many people in the church that can communicate the doctrines of the church to my generation. However, once I grew up, I decided to journey to a monastery in Ethiopia so that I can learn about what this great church had to offer. Once I came back to America, I wrote a book that chronicles my journey to re-committing myself to the church and provides answers to frequently asked questions about the teachings of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church.
