The NEWS chapter track is focused on amplifying Pan-Africanism and Black Worldview on campuses locally and internationally through the showcase of Black student perspectives on current events.
The Breakdown
PORTAL
One of the primary aspects of the PORTAL mobile app is the creation of student written articles into Black Campus News Networks allowing Black college students to showcase their perspective of what's going on both locally and internationally.
TCU Newsroom
We are aiming to create TCU News Studios on campuses to allow for students to work directly with their journalism department to create and produce Newsroom content to be viewed by Black college students globally.,
Student Podcast
TCU students in the News track will be encouraged to create Chapter Podcast. These podcast will consist of interviews with students, professors, and others. The goal of the podcast is to showcase and exchange perspectives on Pan-Africanism.
