Service Description

Ambassador Yaw Frederick L. Davis is the Executive Director of the Pan African Technical Association (PATA), a nonprofit organization www.pataus.org. PATA is organized to bring awareness, to youth in disadvantages areas, of careers in science and technology and to implement science and technology projects in the U.S., Caribbean and Africa. Mr. Davis has impacted African American, African and Ethiopian communities in various cities in the United States, Ethiopia and Ghana. Mr. Davis has traveled to the following African countries where he has lectured, delivered medical and educational supplies or establish libraries: Ethiopia (9 times), Ghana (7 times), Zimbabwe and Kenya (3 times), South Africa (twice), and once to Egypt, Tanzania, Ivory Coast, Botswana, Uganda and Nigeria. Mr. Davis has been a member of the organization founded by the Honorable Marcus Garvey, the Universal Negro Improvement Association and African Communities League since he was 12 years old. He has held the position of 2nd Assistant President General and International Organizer for the Marcus Garvey UNIA & ACL. As a trailblazer engineer in the aerospace industry, he was awarded the 2006 Pioneer of the Year Award by the National Society of Black Engineers. Mr. Davis has over 30 years of public service in the African American and African communities spearheading social-cultural and business initiatives for African Americans and people of African ancestry. Mr. Davis is also an accomplished aerobatic private pilot.
